The Story
While neighboring Yirgacheffe gets the spotlight, Sidamo (now officially Sidama) has its own magic. Our natural-processed lot comes from smallholder farms near the town of Bensa, where cherries are dried whole on raised beds for up to three weeks. This patience pays off: the extended fruit contact produces an explosion of ripe blueberry flavor that's almost jam-like in intensity. Beneath that fruit-forward punch, you'll find delicate jasmine florals and a dark chocolate bass note that grounds the cup. This is the coffee that converts washed-coffee purists to the natural-process camp.
