The Story
Sigri Estate sits in the Wahgi Valley of Papua New Guinea's Western Highlands, one of the most remote fine-coffee regions on Earth. At 1,500 meters, cool nights slow cherry maturation, concentrating sugars in each bean. The estate's meticulous washing process—72-hour underwater fermentation followed by raised-bed drying—produces a remarkably clean cup with unusual depth. Dark berry and cocoa dominate the profile, grounded by an earthy complexity inherited from volcanic soils. Each harvest is limited, and we secure just a few bags annually for our most curious customers.
