The Story

"Strictly High Grown" is the highest grade designation for Nicaraguan coffee, reserved for beans cultivated above 1,200 meters. Our SHG comes from the Jinotega highlands, where morning fog and afternoon rain create ideal growing conditions for Caturra and Bourbon varieties. Small family farms here often sit on former cloud forest land, and many are transitioning back to shade-grown systems. Washed and patio-dried, this coffee offers a beautifully balanced cup—creamy milk chocolate body, sticky orange marmalade sweetness, and a round, satisfying finish that works brilliantly as both drip and espresso.
